Dugard has begun the month with the arrival of two SMEC NS2000M CNC lathes, both of which have already been sold to customers.
The machines are now set to undergo Dugard’s full pre-delivery inspection (PDI) process before being prepared for delivery to their respective new homes. The company said the arrivals represent a positive start to the month, with both lathes due to join active production floors.
Dugard presented the delivery as further evidence of demand for CNC machine tools within UK manufacturing and engineering. The company did not disclose the identities of the customers, delivery dates, machine values or the specific applications for which the NS2000M lathes were purchased.
