Hexagon Production Software has opened its JIMTOF 2026 presence at Tokyo Big Sight, where it is demonstrating software for automation, digital manufacturing and quality assurance. The team is located in the East Hall at Booth E2013 during the exhibition, which runs from 26 to 31 October.

A central feature of the presentation is ESPRIT EDGE ProPlanAI, an AI-assisted manufacturing tool intended to support CNC program planning. Hexagon says the software can help reduce programming time and deliver faster, more consistent results as programs move from part design to machine production.

The company is also highlighting digital twin technologies designed to simulate, check and optimise machining processes before cutting begins. According to Hexagon, this approach enables manufacturers to validate machining plans before the first chip is cut, supporting its stated goal of helping users get processes right the first time.

For the mold and die sector, Hexagon is recognising this year’s WorkNC finalists at the show. WorkNC is included within the company’s broader mold and die software offering, alongside its focus on CAM, simulation, metrology and quality data.

Hexagon is presenting its portfolio as a connected workflow spanning design through inspection. The company says visitors can see how its CAM, simulation, metrology and quality-data capabilities can be combined, with experts available to discuss how software can turn manufacturing data into productivity. The showcase serves industries and users involved in CNC machining, mold and die production, quality assurance and digitally connected manufacturing.
