山特维克可乐满推出 CoroMill Plura barrel conical 型面加工刀具，把桶形与球头两种几何合到同一支刀具上。该刀具可一次装夹完成圆角、侧刃和复杂曲面的加工，减少走刀次数与换刀次数，提高机床利用率；较大的桶形半径允许更大的步距，同时保持所需表面质量，变化的接触点把热量和切削载荷分散到更大面积，有助于获得稳定可预期的刀具寿命。该系列针对 ISO S 材料的半精加工与精加工优化，包含面向钛合金和耐热高温合金的专用几何与牌号，次要适用材料为不锈钢、钢、淬硬钢和铸铁；牌号 T2CH 和 R2AH 采用 Zertivo 2.0 涂层技术，面向高工艺安全性、耐磨性和刃口可靠性。该刀具补强了山特维克可乐满的整体叶盘与叶片加工产品线，该产品线还包括 CoroMill Plura ball nose、CoroMill Plura lollipop、CoroMill Plura conical ball nose 和 CoroMill Plura barrel。

Metal cutting tool and manufacturing solutions specialist Sandvik Coromant has launched a new profiling solution, CoroMill Plura barrel conical. The two-in-one tool combines barrel and ball-nose geometries to improve productivity, process security, and surface quality for multi-axis profiling of complex components such as blisks and blades.
The tool combines barrel and ball-nose radii in one geometry. This enables manufacturers to machine fillets, flanks and complex surfaces in a single setup, reducing the number of passes and tool changes while increasing machine utilisation.
Its large barrel radius permits greater step-over rates while maintaining the required surface quality. Varying contact points also distribute heat and cutting loads across a larger area, supporting stable and predictable tool life.
Staffan Lundström, product manager for solid carbide end milling tools at Sandvik Coromant, said: “CoroMill Plura barrel conical gives manufacturers a versatile solution for demanding profiling operations. By combining multiple operations in one tool, customers can reduce non-cutting time and achieve a more productive and reliable machining process.”
Optimised for semi-finishing and finishing in ISO S materials, the range includes dedicated geometries and grades for titanium alloys and heat-resistant super-alloys. Secondary materials are stainless steel, steel, hardened steel and cast iron. Grades T2CH and R2AH feature Zertivo 2.0 coating technology and are designed to provide high process security, wear resistance and cutting-edge reliability.
CoroMill Plura barrel conical strengthens Sandvik Coromant’s complete offer for blisk and blade machining. The portfolio also includes CoroMill Plura ball nose, CoroMill Plura lollipop, CoroMill Plura conical ball nose and CoroMill Plura barrel.
